My 32nd Birthday
Monday night I had a girls' night out with my sweet friends at Giovanni's, which is very good and very inexpensive. Thanks girls, for a fun night and great presents!!!

Okay, many of you know my "iris" story. If you don't, go back to the "archive" blogs, click on "2007" and scroll down to "September 24, 2007" entitled "The Iris." It is a poem I wrote about my mom, and the iris was her favorite flower. Well, this year I've been looking for that one iris in my backyard everyday and had not seen it. I knew that last year it bloomed around my birthday. Well, we left for Meridian on Friday and it was not there. Monday morning (on my birthday) I went out to the van to get something and there it was the same place it was last year and only one. It took my breath away. I took a picture of it before the boys destroyed it. I think it was my birthday present from my mom letting me know that she was thinking of me!

Papa's ballgame
Saturday night we went to Papa's baseball game. After the game the boys got on the field and put those NASTY helmets on their heads! I love the top picture of Garrett, and I think Graham looks like "Chicken Little" with that helmet on! They always have me laughing!!!
Blue Angels in Meridan
Last weekend while we were in Meridian, we went to the Blue Angels air show. Notice Garrett has his ears covered in almost every picture. Graham didn't mind after awhile. Yes, they did have earplugs in. It was EXTREMELY loud!!! They went back to the air show on Sunday with some cousins. They enjoyed getting in the big planes!
