We Are the Champions!!!

Tonight Papa's team (West Lauderdale Knights) won the Class 4A High School Baseball State Championship at Trustmark Park. Yeah Papa!!! We beat Terry 7-3. It was a good game. I am so proud of my dad and his team. He especially needed this and deserved it this year. They were ranked #2 in the nation! Pretty good for a country town like Collinsville!!! This picture is Papa with his 6 grandchildren: Kasie, Mari Beth, Kennedy, Cameron, Garrett, and Graham.
The next picture is "happy" Graham with his buddy, Papaw.
The third picure is Garrett enjoying the game. Go, Knights, Go!!!

Happy Birthday Papa!!!

Garrett loves to ride the lawnmower with his Papa. (I know it looks dangerous, but I used to take naps riding in my dad's lap on the lawnmower-and I'm fine.) Today my dad turned 62. He looks pretty good for an old man, doesn't he?!! We gave Papa a cookie cake and a shirt that Garrett picked out. We love our Papa!!!!!!!

Christopher and Sarah Delaney's Wedding

This is my Grandfather, Dee, my aunt, Jan and me.
I had such a good time with Dee. I don't think we've
ever gotten to spend that much time together! We flew together and rented a car together. I was surprised at how well we got around - thanks to Jan's maps!!! Christopher and Sarah had a flower basket arrangement in memory of my mom, so I got to "sit beside" my mom at our table. That was so thoughtful Christopher and Sarah!

This is my sweet aunt and uncle, Jan and George, mother and father of the groom. I had such a good time visiting with them this weekend. It was wonderful, Jan and George!!!

Haircut with Mrs. Mavis

This is actually Garrett's third haircut. He is now an old pro at it!. As long as the suckers and candy keep coming, he thinks it's pretty fun. Mrs. Mavis has cut his hair each time. She has a small farm so while Graham was getting his hair cut, Garrett got to go outside and see the donkeys. Garrett loves to imitate the donkey by placing his hands on his ears and saying "Hee-haw, Hee-haw!"

My 1st Haircut!!

We took Graham to get his first haircut last week in Meridian. We took Garrett and Graham to Mrs. Mavis who has cut Jeremy's hair since he was about 4 years old! Although Graham looks happy in these pictures, he was not too pleased with the whole process. We won't post the pictures of him crying!

Welcome to Blogging!

The Jackson family has finally caught up with the times, perhaps! We will see if we are able to keep up with this. We will be hard-pressed to keep up with the Guests, Seagos, and Segrests. Anyway, we hope our friends and family, especially those who live away, will enjoy watching our family grow-up! Garrett and Graham are a hand-full, so finding time to post on this blog will be difficult because usually if they are resting, I am resting. Anway here are our two boys this week sharing a cold drink at the fridge. I can't imagine having any more fun than right now. Everyday there is something new to laugh at and enjoy. For those who don't know, Garrett turned two in January and Graham is 10 months-old. How quickly time flies!
