We spent Wednesday-Sunday at Seagrove Beach, just down from Seaside. Jeremy's whole family went - 19 of us and stayed in a big house with a pool. However, Jeremy didn't get to stay with us, but I have the best husband ever. He was on-call Tuesday night before we left and got about 3 hours sleep, drove us to the beach, spent the night with us, drove back home by himself and went back on-call Friday night and only got a couple of more hours of sleep again! He didn't want me to have to drive all that way by myself, and he just wanted to be with us as much as he could. He said he wouldn't have anything else to do anyway!
This year Graham absolutely loved the water, whether it was on the beach or the pool. Garrett preferred the pool. And, he did very well since he just finished swimming lessons. He was jumping and swimming all over that pool!
Our last night we went on a 2-hour sunset Pirate cruise for the kids. It was so much fun watching them. First, we had a huge water fight (it was planned) with a big boat that came up next to us. Then the kids got their faces painted and wore pirate hats and had a sword fight. Then we picked up a treasure chest out of the water and they got to look in it for treasure. At the end they all did the "limbo" and the "chicken dance." They shot a cannon on the ship a couple of times and Garrett didn't like that! Other than that all the kids loved it. If you can ever go to Panama City and do it, your kids would love it (if they're about 3 years old and over!) Our trip was great other than Jeremy wasn't there with us!!!

Happy Birthday to Graham!!!
Our baby is 2 years old today!!! Garrett was 9 months old when we found out we were pregnant with #2. It was October 2005. We were so excited, but didn't really think it would happen that fast. I took 4 pregnancy tests and Jeremy took one just to see what a negative one was supposed to look like! We even called the EPT company because we still didn't think I was pregnant after 5 tests! Graham was born at 8:10 am by c-section, weighing in at 7 lbs. 13 oz. and 20 3/4 inches. He has been such a joy. He has always been my "smiley" baby. However, now he tends to be my "whiney" baby. He and Garrett are so different but they are both so funny and loving. I can't imagine life without my "baby" (Garrett still calls him that!) I guess now that he's 2 we're going to have to stop calling him "baby!"

Yesterday I got to spend the day with my 2 favorite men, my dad and my husband. Jeremy couldn't make church because of work, but we all got to eat lunch together and napped and played together. I cooked vegetables for lunch for my dad. I actually went to the Farmer's Market and bought some fresh veges. ( I did cheat and did use some canned ones, though!) It was a nice day with all my boys around. I am so thankful for my dad and the closer relationship that we now share and the wonderful relationship I have with my man (as Stacy says)! I love you both very much!!! This picture was actually taken last year at the beach. I forgot to take Father's Day pics since Jeremy wasn't dressed up for church!
Garrett's Swimming Lessons
Last week Garrett finished swimming lessons. He took four weeks (16 lessons) with Alicia Maley Lawrence. It was so worth the money. Garrett learned some water safety and can swim on his stomach and some on his back. I was so proud of him. Now we can go swimming and he can wear floaties and swim all by himself. I still have to watch him closely, though. I'm still not sure I could take both the boys swimming by myself, though. That makes me a little nervous!
One of the water safety things he learned was if he ever falls in the pool to swim to the wall and get himself out. This was him practicing swimming to the wall and getting out all by himself.
Garrett jumped off the diving board all by himself-(actually it was a bellyflop)!!! Later we called family to tell them and I heard him say, "I was a little bit scared."

Everyday after swimming lessons, Miss Alicia let them have a cookie. Garrett calls them "flower cookies!"
